Hi I'm Sabine!

I am running to be one of your co-chairs for the Young Greens of Canada Council. Right now is an extremely important time for the future of our party. We are undergoing a leadership race that will move our party forward and I know that youth will be instrumental in determining our success. This is why I have put my name forward, so that youth are represented in all aspects of the party. Together, there is so much we can accomplish

WHY I AM RUNING
WHY I AM RUNNING
Strong Youth Representation

The future of the party must include strong youth representation in all avenues. I am running to be a strong voice on the Young Greens of Canada Council that will represent the Young Greens membership on Federal Council to ensure youth perspective is present and heard by the entire party.

Governance

The governance of the Young Greens membership is the focus for the Young Greens Council. I will ensure that the elected council will follow the 5 principles of good governance so that we are able to accomplish our set goals and be accountable to our membership. This includes creating the strategic direction and ensuring accountability and fairness are present in all decision making by the council.

Building our Future

Over the past year, I have had the opportunity to attend several climate strikes on the lawn of the BC Legislature. What these events have made very clear to the world is that youth are fighting back for our future. I will work with the elected council to support these youth-led initiatives on varying issues across Canada. It should be the strategic direction of the Young Greens that we work with our fellow young people to build our future.
